The Treatment Process
Initial Consultation – During your initial consultation, we will conduct a comprehensive assessment of your orthodontic needs and determine the suitability of Invisalign treatment for your specific case. Our experienced orthodontists will evaluate your dental structure and discuss your aesthetic goals to ensure an optimal treatment plan.
Customized Treatment Plan – Utilizing advanced technology such as the iTero® digital scanning system, we create precise 3D digital images of your teeth. This allows us to map out a detailed treatment plan, including the exact movements of your teeth and the estimated duration of your treatment. You will have the opportunity to preview your new smile through a virtual simulation of your tooth movement progression.
Invisalign Clear Aligners – Your custom-made aligners are fabricated using Invisalign’s proprietary SmartTrack® material. These aligners are virtually invisible, allowing for discreet teeth straightening. For optimal results, it is recommended to wear your Invisalign clear aligners for 22 hours daily, removing them only for eating, brushing, and flossing.
Treatment Progress – As you progress through your series of aligners, your teeth will gradually shift into their desired positions. We typically recommend transitioning to a new set of aligners weekly, with follow-up appointments scheduled approximately every 8 weeks to monitor your progress and make any necessary adjustments to your treatment plan.
Post-Treatment Care – Upon completion of your Invisalign treatment, we strongly recommend the use of a Vivera® retainer to maintain your newly aligned smile. Vivera retainers are custom-fabricated using the same state-of-the-art technology as Invisalign clear aligners, ensuring a perfect fit and optimal retention of your treatment results.
